Xpedite Diagnostics has joined forces with the German Reference Center for Dermatophytes at the Charité and Anchor Diagnostics, a developer and manufacturer of fast real-time PCR assays, to develop a rapid multiplex real-time PCR test system for veterinary diagnostics.
The consortium succesfully secured funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action in the framework of the "Central innovation program for SMEs" (Funding ID: KK5563601AP3).
Xpedite's part in the project is to develop an improved rapid extraction that is compatible with fast multiplex real-time PCR amplification and that can deal with the more challenging quality of veterinary samples.
