Rapid & reliable cfDNA extraction in just minutes
Extract cell-free DNA from large volumes of serum, plasma and urine samples in under 15 minutes – faster and more accurate than traditional silica-based extraction methods.

Accuracy you can trust. Speed you need.
SwiftX™ cfDNA offers highly sensitive extraction for liquid biopsy samples, ensuring faster turnaround for cancer detection and prenatal testing. Our protocol outperforms silica-based extraction methods, and is fully compatible with qPCR, ddPCR, and NGS for downstream analysis.
Cell-free DNA extraction for Schistosoma diagnostics
Development of rapid, field-friendly method for isolation of cfDNA from plasma and serum for diagnosis of Schistosoma infections.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What equipment is needed for a cfDNA extraction with SwiftX cfDNA kit?
Pipets and disposable pipet tips (aerosol barriers recommended)
Magnetic stands adapted for the plastics used (Xpedite Diagnostics REF: MAG-12, MAG-4x5mL)
Vortexer (Xpedite Diagnostics REF: VOR-01)
Heating block capable to reach 70°C (Xpedite Diagnostics REF: ACC-15)
Mini spin centrifuge (Xpedite Diagnostics REF: CEN-01)
What is the maximum sample volume (serum/plasma) possible?
The standard starting sample volume is 2mL. Lower volumes are possible: as low as 500µL). Larger volumes are as well possible - 0.5 to 10mL and more. No upper limit is set. Xpedite tested applications where 5mL of serum samples are used. In any case, always keep a ratio of 1 volume Buffer CFB to 1 volume sample; but keep the volume of Beads C to 20µL.
Does SwiftX cfDNA contains dangerous chemicals or requires solvents?
No, SwiftX cfDNA does not contain any dangerous goods and does not require the addition of ethanol, isopropanol or other solvents.
All reagents needed are ready to use and included in the SwiftX cfDNA kit.
What is the minimum elution buffer volume possible?
The standard elution volume of the SwiftX cfDNA is 100µL. According to the user’s requirements, the volume can be as little as 15µL.
Which blood anticoagulants are compatible with cfDNA extraction?
SwiftX™ cfDNA was validated for venous whole blood (K2-EDTA, Na3-citrate, and Lithium heparin have been validated). Blood samples should be processed without delay to avoid degradation of cell-free DNA and decay of blood cells. For that, blood samples should be centrifuged for 10 minutes at 1900 x g. A second centrifugation for 10 minutes at 16000 x g is recommended to remove any traces of remaining cells or cell debris.
